Lara Croft fan film

I'm a huge fan of fan films and when they are done right they can rival or outshine any Hollywood bloated budget spectacular. The thing that beams through in fan films are the love for the characters and game the creators have.
This fan film is definetly a R rated production with violence on the level of most blockbuster movies- think Rambo's First Blood with a woman but the gritiness is inline with the present incarnation of the Lara Croft franchise. This is a lara croft fan film and it technically isn't you will see after its done.

Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy 1

A very entertaining fan made Metal Gear movie it was even enjoyed by metal gear guru kojima himself

Ratchet and Clank Toys

It has been a long time coming, a really long time coming but the wait is almost over. Years after debuting on the PlayStation 2 the Ratchet&Clank franchise are finally getting toys. DC Direct will be making them.

Some time in 2010 you will be able to own your own Lombax or Clank or even Captain Qwark. They would make a good gift for fans of the series.

TearsOfTheDragon :fan made tomb raider movie

I am a fan of the Tomb Raider franchise so I was surprised today when I discovered someone had made a fan film based on the game's heroine entitled Lara Croft TombRaider: Tears Of The Dragon . There are probably hundreds of fan made films floating on You Tube but I have never seen one so I am anxious to see this one . This is how the website for the movie describes the film's story.

SYNOPSIS:
Adventurer and heiress Lara Croft fights to hold on to the last feeling of family she has by tracking down an ancient cure to save the life of her long-time and most devoted friend Winston. The Tomb Raider finds herself competing against the ruthless Wu-Chen Li, a son of a Triad crime boss, with whom she has unfinished business. The quest spans the globe from dangerous forgotten catacombs to the urban mercenary underworld. This action drama is a true testament to low-budget, guerrilla film making and features magnificent original music. A comic book prequel illustrating the history between Lady Croft and Chen Li's mobster family

It stars Valerie Perez as Lara Croft and is directed by Nick Murphy

metal gear solid

I did not know anything about MetalGearSolid before I played the demo but when I played the game I was blown away. The game was very cinematic in its approach and the stealth element was new to me after playing Tombraider where you can go in guns blazing and survive if you had enough medipacks. Another interesting thing was the interaction with the colonel and other advisers through codec. The demo had me hooked and i went out and got the game and discovered a complex story filled with drama and twist and turns. Like Ratchet and Clank, Snake can hold an array of weapons, some real and some fake. Metal gear is on its last game now and I think the franchise is one of the most important in video game history, console history at the least.

Grand theft auto IV

Rockstar games has released Grand Theft Auto IV the next gen version of the series and it looks fantastic. Of course it already has attracted attention for being too realistic and violent. People just don't get that all video games are not for kids and that a large majority of gamers are over 20 years old. So parents if you have kids that are under 16 or are just too immature to handle the game then make sure they don't play it

OLD SCHOOL KOOL
