blacks in jail

I know black people are in jail but I never knew the exact numbers , 2.3 million people in jail. According to the June 2007 report of the Bureau of Justice Statistics that counts federal, state and local jails, It is 40 percent. men and women

truth in politics

You do yourself a disservice if you blindly follow the word of politicians, any politicians whether they are "your guy" or from another party. I have found instances where both of the current presidential candidates made lies and half truths about the other and if you just follow the cult of your party you will not know the truth. I implore you to research claims yourself and not be spoon fed information by people with an agenda. Here are some sites I have found helpful, check them out I am begging you, I am begging you

why blacks vote democrat

A lot of people wonder why black people always vote for Democrats and outside of the historical view I can offer my own opinion. To some blacks the Republican party seems a party mostly concerned with the welfare of the white and rich and a friend of business over the little man. What always puzzled me was when did black people switch to the Democratic party.

I have been reading some things and I have discovered that black people started to vote Democrat when President Franklin D. Roosevelt came into office in 1933

"Blacks did not come into the Democratic Party until Roosevelt's New Deal began
in 1933, and even then it was very slow. The Democratic Party in the South was
organized like a private club that banned all but whites. Any black who had the
temerity to challenge the system might end up being jailed, or in some extreme
cases, pay with his life"-

O.J. Freshly Squeezed

You would think that someone that literally got away with murder would stay on the straight and narrow, especially with the eyes of the world on you. Not O.J he has been in the news a couple of more times since he was found not guilty of killing his ex-wife and Ron Goldman. He has assaulted people in traffic, written books about the murder case and here's the capper he tried to forcefully regain some memorabilia that was said to have been stolen from him. Well you can only tempt fate so many times and his latest caper has landed him in jail after a speedy trial.Simpson was convicted of conspiracy, burglary, kidnapping, robbery and assault. He is looking at a possible long sentence. I only have one thing to say to that "good enough for ya dummy"

attack of the ever increasing 800 billion dollar bailout

Just when you thought it was safe to go in the water, the bailout bill increases in amount and pork. Many of the politicians would not sign the bill until it was filled with other things that some are calling pork. These new parts to the bailout could increase the amount to 800 billion. Even more troubling California is begging for a 7 billion dollar handout saying they could run out of cash.
