flash forward(tv series)

I watched the new TV show FLASHFORWARD on ABC and it was pretty interesting. Since LOST came out and made it big the trend has been to have these large cast mysterious dramas on but few have had the same success. This new show is based on a book and seems promising. A quick description of the show is in order I guess.

"A mysterious global event causes everyone on the planet to simultaneously lose consciousness for 137 seconds, during which people worldwide see what appear to be visions of their lives six months in the future(April 29,2010). The event also results in the deaths of some who were involved in transportation accidents, while the people who survived are left wondering if what they saw will actually happen"

I recognized a few faces from the show too, Courtney B.Vance-I guess he won't be back on Law and Order:Criminal Intent. John Cho of Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle fame and Jack Davenport of the English sitcom Coupling and the movie Pirates Of The Caribbean. Seth "FamilyGuy" MacFarlane makes a surprise cameo also.

founding fathers and constitution rollback

All these disruptions at town meetings and all this tea party business has got me worried as a citizen and a black citizen. at a meeting by a senator a woman stood up and said she wanted us to go back to what the founding fathers meant and follow the constitution. if you think about it a lot of the amendments that are important to women and black people are in the constitution after the founding fathers were dead.

Thirteenth Amendment (1865): Abolishes slavery and authorizes Congress to enforce abolition

Fifteenth Amendment (1870): Forbids the federal government and the states from using a citizen's race, color, or previous status as a slave as a qualification for voting

Nineteenth Amendment (1920): Prohibits the federal government and the states from forbidding any citizen to vote due to their sex.

live action green lantern movie

there is a Green Lantern live action movie in the works I think Ryan Reynolds is tapped to play Hal Jordan but this trailer by Jaron Pitts is great. Pitts made a fan made trailer of what the real trailer will probably look like with Nathon Fillion as the star. His trailer actually looks like a good Green Lantern movie if it was on the up and up. The bad part about it is that trailers have become so cliche that they can be easily parodied by anyone. You can go here to see it Green Lantern fan trailer
